5. Happy Hips & Back Mobility
Today's class is a strong and functional sequence specifically programmed to free up the hips and release the back through all sorts of yummy strength, stretch and mobility movements combined.
We'll be using a Pilates/yoga block for some alignment work, but if you don't have one of those then you can easily use a book/cushion as a replacement.
For lots of us, our hips and backs can be a place in the body where we carry tension, stress or tightness and restriction. When our hips and back become tight or weak, this can lead to postural problems or pain in the back body - so it's always a good idea to keep these moving, especially as our modern lives leave us prone to sitting at desks, in cards, on sofas for a lot of our days!
Take your time with each movement, listen to your body and give that body the love it deserves.
